- Chicks and Ducks and Geese, a.k.a. a Heifer Gift Donation, $10-$500. Several years ago, my husband and I did the Charitable Giving Christmas. We made contributions to various organizations in the name of each family member, and it was the best feeling ever. The fun part was selecting charities based on our relatives’ specific interests (gardening, sports, art, etc.). Since then, we make an annual donation to Heifer to support a family in need.
